President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated Gov. Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti and Chairman, Nigerian Governors Forum as he marked his birthday, on Feb. 9, 2022.
In a congratulatory message released by his Media Aide, Malam Garba Shehu, on Wednesday in Abuja, Buhari described Fayemi as a good friend and an active party member.
He wished Fayemi many more years in the service of his community and the nation.
“Ekiti is lucky to have a leader like Fayemi. In his last and final year as second term governor, he has brought the state back to its glory, culture and values,” says the President.
Buhari also sent a birthday message to a foremost political mobiliser and a former APC Deputy National Woman Leader, Mrs Kemi Nelson.
He said: “Nigeria takes pride in the many accomplishments of the women of our nation. It is our party’s honour to have leaders such as Kemi Nelson in our midst.’’
