The Ogun State House of Assembly on Tuesday approved Governor Dapo Abiodun’s request to appoint 20 Special Advisers (SAs) for the running of government pending the appointment of State Commissioners.
The approval followed the reading of the letter of request from the governor on the floor of the House. The letter was addressed to the Speaker of the parliament.
Earlier, Majority Leader of the House, Yusuf Sheriff moved a motion for consideration of the governor’s request, which was seconded by Atinuke Bello, and supported by all members present.
