The attention of METROWATCH has been drawn to our recent news story titled, ‘Obaseki to Commission N500m Danjuma Hostel at UNIBEN Saturday’.Part of the news story read: “This was further collaborated by her close ally, Ven. David Osazee Egbenusi, Chaplain of the UNIBEN’s All Saints Chapel, who described Ehanire as the ‘backbone’ of the Salami administration, and an ‘untouchable one’ at that, even though, according to him, much recognition is not accorded her.”We have since discovered that Ven. David Osazee Egbenusi was misrepresented in the story, seeing that he never granted any interview in that regard.We hereby retract the affected portion of the report and wish to apologise to Ven. Egbenusi for any embarrassment caused.
