After claiming their first Serie A championship in 33 years, Napoli began contract negotiations with the representative of Victor Osimhen.
Aurelio De Laurentiis, the club’s president, is reportedly in direct talks with the forward’s agent, Roberto Calenda, according to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
Chelsea, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, and Manchester United have all been mentioned in connection with Osimhen.
Last week, De Laurentiis promised Napoli supporters that he wouldn’t let the Nigerian leave the team this summer.
The head of the team is now committed to signing the talismanic forward to a brand-new, long-term deal.
Osimhen, who has 23 league goals this year, is in position to win Serie A’s top scorer award.
The 24-year-old’s deal with the club runs through June 2025 and was signed in September 2020 for €75 million plus different add-ons from Ligue 1 team, Lille.
