The All Progressives Congress, APC, denied on Monday that Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege had been expelled from the party.

According to reports, Omo-Agege was expelled for suspected anti-party actions and other unidentified offenses in an expulsion letter dated March 31st and signed by the Chairman, Ulebor Isaac on behalf of the Delta APC State Executive Committee.

“In compliance [with] the provision of Article 21.2 (1)(II)(VII) 21.3 and 21.5(g) of the constitution 2022 (as amended), we unanimously agreed and ratified the expulsion of Senator Ovie Omo Agege as a member of the party,” the statement says in part.

It claimed that Senator Ovie Omo-flagrant Agege’s wrongdoing harmed the party in the recently ended elections, bringing disgrace and contempt to the APC.

In response, APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka informed Vanguard that the party does not recognize the alleged expulsion’s breakaway executive.

Remember that Omo-Agege ran for State Governor in the just-finished election.

Sheriff Oborevwori of the PDP beat him.
