Oyo: Makinde Set for Re-election Victory as PDP Wins 31 of 33 LGAs

The Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde is set for re-election victory with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) clearing 31 local government councils so far declared in the Saturday’s governorship and state house of assembly elections in Oyo.

metrowatchxtra.com reports that Oyo State has 33 Local government areas.

From the results so far announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Makinde’s PDP is leading ahead of other political parties with a very wide margin.

The other political parties and their candidates include: Senator Teslim Folarin of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Adebayo Adelabu of Accord Party (AP).
