The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa has won a seat in the Lagos state parliament for the sixth consecutive term.

Obasa was on Saturday re-elected to represent the people of Agege Constituency 1 in the incoming House of Assembly, under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He polled 17,214 votes to defeat Raheem Rasaki Alabi of Labour Party (LP) who polled 3,933 votes, and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate with 1,609 votes.
