The Labour Party (LP) governorship candidate in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the Nigerian Police not to set Lagos on fire.
”If tonight Lagos catches fire, it will not be because it’s our fault; they did not do the right thing. INEC still has hours to make things right,” GRV said on Twitter.
Rhodes-Vivour equally raised the alarm over alleged voter intimidation, calling on INEC and the police to intervene urgently before the situation gets out of control.
“A peaceful democratic process has been turned into war by the ruling party because people want to express their choice
The point of governance is to preserve and protect lives, not take them.
”Don’t despair, we are stronger than them,” the LP candidate charged at his supporters.
