The Edo State Government on Wednesday paid February salaries and pension to workers and retirees in the state, in furtherance of the Governor Godwin Obaseki-led administration’s commitment to prompt remuneration of workers in the state.

Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie Esq., in a statement, on Wednesday, in Benin City, reiterated the government’s commitment to the welfare of public servants and retirees.

According to him, “The Edo State Government has paid February salaries and pension of workers and retirees, today, Wednesday, February 22, in continuation of the trend of meeting its statutory obligation well before the end of the month.”
