Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has officially become “OBIdient”, with the formal declaration that Nigeria will become great again if the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi is elected president come 2023.

The elder statesman formally identified himself as an Obi supporter in a tweet on his official Twitter handle, @Olusegun_Obj, wherein the ex-President uploaded a picture of himself, Obi and his running mate, Dr. Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed.

Obasanjo, who formally endorsed the Obi-Ahmed LP ticket during a visit of the duo to his Abeokuta residence, in Ogun State, expressed confidence that the former Anambra governor would make Nigeria great again if voted into office in 2023.

“Nigeria on the path to revitalization”, Chief Obasanjo, who is believed to be seriously campaigning for the Obi-Ahmed ticket in the North after formally backing Southern Presidency, captioned the photo.
