One of the All Progressives Congress (APC) national delegates at the ongoing presidential primary election has died suddenly Tuesday afternoon in Abuja.

The deceased, Alhaji Isa Baba Buji from Buji Local Government Area of Jigawa State, is presumably loyal to presidential aspirant and Vice-President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.

An aide to the Vice President, Laolu Akande, disclosed the development in a tweet on his handle. However, it is not yet clear how the delegate died, or the cause of his death.

Reacting go the death of the delegate, Osinbajo said he was saddened by the development, while extending condolence to the deceased’s family, associates, government and people of Jigawa State.
