Manchester City will fight for all titles until end, says Guardiola

Speaking ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash with West Ham United at the London Stadium, Guardiola said his focus remains on taking each game as it comes during what he described as a decisive stretch of the campaign

Pep Guardiola has insisted his side will continue fighting on all fronts this season despite a challenging run of fixtures and a heavy first-leg deficit in Europe.

Manchester City remain within reach of Premier League leaders Arsenal, have reached the Carabao Cup final, the FA Cup quarter-finals, and face a daunting task overturning a 0–3 first-leg loss to Real Madrid in next week’s return leg.

Speaking ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash with West Ham United at the London Stadium, Guardiola said his focus remains on taking each game as it comes during what he described as a decisive stretch of the campaign.

“When you have won a lot of titles, every game is important,” he said at his Friday press conference obtained from the club’s website.

“We have been struggling for many months for the Premier League, and we will not give up fighting until the end.

“We cannot play the same eleven every three days, but I’m not thinking about Madrid.

“It would not be possible to win all the Premier League titles we have if we were not thinking about every single game.

“The day after Madrid when I woke up was Nuno, West Ham and what we have to do.

“Tomorrow we have an important game for our Premier League position and then the second leg on Tuesday.
