Media personality Toke Makinwa has unveiled the face of her daughter, Yakira Eliana, as the little girl marked her first birthday.
Makinwa shared a series of photographs of Yakira on social media Friday, giving fans and colleagues their first public glimpse of the child, whom she had largely kept away from the spotlight since her birth.
Celebrating the milestone, the media personality described her daughter as her “answered prayer” and greatest blessing, reflecting on her journey into motherhood.

Makinwa added that she was sharing “a little piece of my heaven with the world” as her daughter clocked one.
“God can be trusted, God is real… Just like Hagar my mouth can testify that I have met ‘El-roi’, the God who sees me,” she added.
In a playful message to her followers, Makinwa introduced Yakira as their “niece” while gushing over the little girl’s appearance.
“Guys, meet your niece. I cooked ohhhhhh. She is beautiful,” she wrote.
She also affectionately referred to her daughter by several nicknames, including YaYa, Ya Pom Pom and Ya Mama.
