The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially disowned a widely circulated timetable purportedly outlining its schedule of activities for the 2027 general elections, describing the document as false and misleading.

In a statement issued by the Office of the National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, the party said the attention of its leadership had been drawn to the document making rounds across social media and other platforms.

The APC categorically stated that the timetable, which detailed dates for primaries, screenings, and nomination processes, did not emanate from the party.

“The document is false, misleading, and does not emanate from this office,” Argungu said, urging members of the public, party faithful, and stakeholders to disregard it in its entirety.

The party further clarified that no official timetable has been released for the 2027 elections, contrary to the claims contained in the viral publication.

The disclaimed document had earlier outlined a full schedule of activities, including timelines for the sale of forms, screening of aspirants, and primary elections, as well as pegged nomination fees for various offices.

However, the APC stressed that such details remain unofficial and should not be relied upon.

The party also advised the public to depend solely on verified and official communication channels for accurate information regarding its activities and preparations ahead of the 2027 polls to be conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The clarification comes amid growing political activities and early permutations ahead of the next general elections.
