Popular Nollywood actress and film producer, Allwell Ademola, is reportedly dead.
According to The Nation, Ademola died on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the age of 43.
Although details surrounding her death remain sketchy, reports suggest she suffered a heart attack at her residence.
The development has thrown the Nigerian film industry into mourning.
Allwell Ademola, a granddaughter of the late Sir Adetokunbo Ademola, the highly respected Nigerian jurist and former Chief Justice, carved a notable niche for herself in Nollywood as both an actress and a producer.
Over the years, she produced several films and was credited with contributing to the growth of the careers of a number of actors, including Rotimi Salami.
