Activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, received the video from the family and shared it on his social media handle. He also shared a video from a relative of the couple recounting how the couple were abducted from their compound.

The relative stated that the man had just returned home when the gunmen, allegedly fulani herdsmen, invaded their home, and whisked them into a nearby bush.
