A closed-circuit television, CCTV footage has showed the moment actress Peggy Ovire assaulted actor Taye Arimoro at her movie location.
The CCTV was released on Thursday.
This is coming after Taye Arimoro called out Peggy Ovie on Wednesday in a series of posts on his Instagram page, alleging rights violations and physical assault.
Taye Arimoro explained that on Tuesday night, Peggy Ovie detained him against his will, assaulted him, and demanded that he film “two quick scenes” before going home.
According to Taye Arimoro, the actress instructed her crew members and driver to block his car from leaving and beat him because he attempted to leave the movie location around 12 am to rest after exceeding their agreed filming time.
Reacting to the allegation, Peggy, in a series of posts on her Instagram story, claimed that the actor had assaulted her driver first.
However, CCTV footage of the incident, which surfaced online on Thursday morning, captured the actress and her driver assaulting the actor in the presence of other crew members.
Following the release of the footage, many Nigerians condemned Peggy Ovie for allegedly lying about the incident.
