Anambra 2025: Soludo Sweeps ALL 21 LGAs to Win Second Term

The candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the Anambra State 2025 governorship election and incumbent Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, has won all the entire 21 local government areas (LGAS) in the state, in the just-concluded Saturday poll.

The State Returning Officer for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and Vice Chancellor of the University of Benin, Prof. Edoba Omoregie, announced the final results at Awka, the Anambra State capital, early Sunday.

He said, Soludo, having polled the highest number of lawful votes cast, “is hereby declared elected” and returned winner of the election.
