Popular evangelist, Rev. Uma Ukpai is d3ad.

According to Punch, his death was confirmed in a statement on Monday by his family, who said he passed away on 6 October 2025 at the age of 80.

Ukpai was an international evangelist and the founder and president of the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association.

Prophet Joel Ogebe mourned the late clergyman on X, stating: “A giant has gone to be with the Lord. My father, my father, the chariot of Israel. Heaven rejoices. Uyo.”

Shortly after, a Christian platform, Church Gist, also shared a message on Facebook reporting that the revered cleric had passed on. The post read:

“A GENERAL TAKES A BOW! EVANGELIST UMA UKPAI HAS GONE TO BE WITH THE LORD. REST IN POWER, SIR.”
