Celebrity auto dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna, popularly known as IVD, has reportedly been arrested at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.
IVD was reportedly arrested and detained on Friday by the Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecutions while on his way to Qatar ahead of his wedding with controversial self acclaimed relationship expert, Blessing CEO.
Reacting to the viral news on Saturday, Stella Dimoko-Korkus in an Instagram post revealed that IVD’s arrest has to do with the death of his late wife, Bimbo Ogbonna.
“Domestic Violence case against him regarding his late wife is still in court. IVD is not supposed to leave Nigeria until the case is over,” Stella Dimoko-Korkus said.
Recall that Bimbo died in October 2022 due to injuries sustained from a fire incident resulting from domestic violence in their Lagos residence.
The Lagos State Government charged IVD with one count of involuntary manslaughter in suit No LD/21055C/23.
