Tinubu Bags Fresh Title in Saint Lucia

Pierre's office said the Nigerian President was honoured with the title of Knight Commander of the Order of Saint Lucia (KCOSL)

President Bola Tinubu has been honoured with a new title in Saint Lucia on Monday, June 30.

This is according to a statement by the Office of the Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Philip Pierre.

Pierre’s office said the Nigerian President was honoured with the title of Knight Commander of the Order of Saint Lucia (KCOSL).

The title of KCOSL was conferred on the president by the Governor General of Saint Lucia.

The Prime Minister, in the statement, said the Government of Saint Lucia was highly pleased to honour Tinubu with such a title.

The statement said, “BREAKING: The Government of Saint Lucia is pleased to announce that, the Governor General has conferred the title of Knight Commander of the Order of Saint Lucia (KCOSL) upon H. E. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

In another post on X, the Office of the Prime Minister of Saint Lucia said the president’s visit brought a sense of pride and promise to the nation.

It said the governments of Saint Lucia and Nigeria are making deliberate efforts to forge new bonds across Africa.

It said, “A sense of pride and promise filled the room following President Tinubu’s exciting announcements and the government’s deliberate efforts to forge new bonds with Nigeria and other African nations.”
