Jude Okoye, the elder brother and former manager of the defunct PSquare group, has been released after spending over two months in EFCC custody.

The celebration of his release didn’t come quietly, especially from Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, who took to Instagram with a fiery post.

“Jude is finally out after 2months + .. all their efforts to frustrate his bail has finally collapsed. Welcome home brother @judeengees. And happy birthday,” Paul wrote in his Instagram story.

He also shared a video showing the moment Ifeoma, Jude’s wife welcomed her husband with a hug.

Paul’s words appeared to be more than just a welcome note as they carried an undertone of resentment, likely directed at his twin brother, Peter Okoye.

Jude was arraigned before the court on Wednesday by the EFCC over a p[etition filed against him by his younger brother, Peter Okoye. Jude is being tried over an alleged money laundering offence involving N1.38 billion, $1 million, and £34,537.59.

He was charged alongside his company, Northside Music Limited, on seven counts filed by the EFCC. Jude has since denied the allegations. He was granted bail on March 6. The court ordered he be remanded in custody pending the fulfillment of his bail conditions.
