Hon. Collins Edomaruse, Special Adviser on International Development Partners to Edo Governor, has congratulated the Edo State helmsman on his victory at the Edo State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal.
The Tribunal, in three separate judgments on Wednesday, dismissed the petitions filed by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Action Alliance (AA) and Accord Party (AP), and affirmed Senator Monday Okpebholo as the duly elected governor of the State.
In a statement on Thursday, which he personally signed, Hon. Edomaruse described the tribunal’s ruling as an affirmation of the people’s mandate and a testament to the governor’s overwhelming support in Edo State.
He commended Governor Okpebholo’s leadership, vision, and dedication to the progress of Edo, emphasizing that the victory was a win for the collective aspirations of the people.
The statement reads: “I congratulate His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, the Edo State Governor, on his resounding victory at the Edo State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal.
“Your Excellency, this victory is not only a testament to the overwhelming support and trust reposed in you by the good people of Edo State but also a reaffirmation of the legitimacy of the mandate freely given to you at the polls.
