The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Commissioner of Police, Olatunji Disu has lost his son in a car accident that reportedly happened on Monday.

Although the circumstances surrounding the young man’s death remain unclear, family sources have described the loss as heartbreaking.

Disu assumed duty as the 32nd Commissioner of Police for the FCT Police Command in October.

He took over from AIG Benneth Igweh, who was promoted to an Assistant Inspector General of Police and posted to Zone 7 Headquarters.

CP Disu was on a condolence visit to CSP A.A. Sambo, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ushafa Division, whose son had recently passed away when he received the news of his own son’s death.
