DHQ Reveals What Caused Death of Sokoto Villagers During Airstrike

The Defence Headquarters, DHQ, has revealed what caused death of 10 villagers in Sokoto after its latest airstrikes.

DHQ blamed what it described as ‘secondary explosions’ for the death of some villagers.

Recall that a few days back, the Sokoto State government said 10 villagers were killed and others injured after airstrikes in Silame Local Government Area of the state.

However, the Director of Defence Media Operations, Major General Edward Buba, said the deaths and injuries were due to secondary explosions and not a direct result of the airstrikes.
