Veteran Yoruba actor, Abdulsalam Sanyaolu, AKA Agbako, is dead. He was 101.

He reportedly died in the early hours of Thursday after taking a nap and complaining of slight tiredness.

The President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Bolaji Amusan, commonly known as Mr Latin, revealed Agbako’s death on Instagram.

“TAMPAN Global announces the passing of Pa Charles Olumo Sanyaolu, fondly known as AGBAKO,” Amusan wrote.

He also stated that details of the burial arrangements will be shared later.
