Veteran comedian, Ali Baba, has said insecure men should be the one quitting their jobs instead of pressuring their partners who earned more than them.

Ali Baba stated this while reacting to the trending story of a man who forced his wife to quit her job because she earned more than him.

While questioning the authenticity of the story, the comedian noted that the self-worth of such men were tied to financial status, and they became weak when faced with prosperous women.

Speaking in a post on his Instagram page, he said the man should be the one to quit his job rather than asking his wife to resign.

He said, “Who are these women falling for such lies? If you earn more than your man, let him quit his job. Nonsense! Who are these lazy bumcums peddling these stupid narratives?

“If you are earning N10 million a month, and your husband earns N1.5 million, how does it make sense to resign? That means the man’s confidence is financially driven and anchored. Insecurities my foot.
