Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has promised to make his half-time team talks shorter, after the club were fined £2 million for late kick-offs by the Premier League.
Man City received the punishment for 22 separate violations over the last two seasons.
That included Guardiola’s men being nearly three minutes late for the restart of the second half of their last fixture of the campaign against West Ham.
City were crowned champions, winning the game 3-1 at the Etihad.
Guardiola was asked about the fine and he told reporters in Colombus, Ohio: “I just read it in the news.
“I would try to do my speeches at half-time shorter.”
