Victor Osimhen, a Nigerian striker, recently paid a visit to his alma mater, Olusosun Primary School, in the Oregun region of Lagos State, and brought his CAF trophy with him.
In December 2023, Osimhen won the CAF 2023 Men’s Player of the Year award, becoming the first Nigerian to do so since Nwankwo Kanu in 1999.
A photojournalist, Sulaiman Adebayo, also known as Pooja, detailed his recent visit to the institution on X platform.
The caption read, “Victor Osimhen takes his CAF Award to Olusosun Primary School, Ojota, where it all started with street coaches and friends.”
