Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara submitted a list of commissioner nominations to the House of Assembly.
The nominees are likely to go through vetting and receive approval from MPs.
They are set to be screened today, Tuesday, by Assembly members loyal to the governor.
Recall that some of the commissioners loyal to the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, resigned their positions following the breakdown of the President Bola Tinubu peace accord.
It should be recalled that among them are the commissioners for education and housing, Professor Chinedu Mmon and Gift Worlu, respectively, who cited a toxic working environment as a reason for their actions.
