Kaduna State Commissioner for Human Services and Social Development, Hajia Rabi Salisu, has commissioned the state’s newly constructed Primary Health Care Centre at Unguwar Muazu, Sabon Gari West, Kaduna south Local Government Area. Hajia Rabi Salisu commissioned the project on behalf of Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani.
The Commissioner, expressed profound gratitude and regards to the Governor for his exhilarating performance in seeing Kaduna at the pioneering stage in health care services and his tireless efforts in ensuring that every citizen of Kaduna is living in a conducive atmosphere of health and environment.
This primary healthcare centre we’ve commissioned will ease the difficulties usually encountered by our people in their search for quality and affordable healthcare, she said.
In emergencies, this primary healthcare centre will provide immediate or alternative interventions/options and referrals, where necessary, as well as make adequate arrangements to provide preventive care. It will also impact other social determinants of healthy outcomes in its immediate and surrounding communities.
Dr. Aisha Abubakar Sadiq, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Health, saidd that a “healthy environment is a wealthy environment” She therefore, acknowledged the unwavering support their Ministry is receiving from KDSG in health-related issues and commended the efforts put by the Governor in seeing Kaduna State at the forefront in the provision of quality and affordable health services to its citizens.
She further advised the good people of Kaduna State to be health conscious and to adapt to every protocol released by the Ministry in building a healthier Kaduna State.
