Armed bandits operating in the Northwest zone have killed more than twenty people in Bilbis, a village in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

It was gathered that over seven residents of the neighborhood were taken to Tsafe General Hospital after suffering gunshot wounds of varying degrees.

Ismaiala Bilbis claims that the gunmen broke into the village on many motorbikes carrying advanced weaponry and were free to roam for more than three hours.

“The terrorists, after killing over 20 people, abducted two people,” he said.

He further stated that distress calls were put across to security agencies, but the terrorists had left before the arrival of the military and other security operatives.
