Yahaya Bello, the immediate former Governor of Kogi State, was absent from the Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, was set to charge the former governor with suspected money laundering totaling N84 billion.
Kemi Phinro, counsel for the EFCC, had informed the court that Bello was not present for his arraignment because he was being shielded by someone with immunity.
Justice Emeka Nwite subsequently adjourned the suit to April 23rd.
