Digital solutions provider, Globacom, has enjoined Nigerians to show love and be their neighbour’s keepers as the Muslim Ummah rounds off the 30-day fast which is one of the requirements of their religion.
In a press release on the celebration, Globacom said, “It is a month of sacrifice, abstinence and, above all, love to all”.
According to Globacom, “As Muslims celebrate Eid-El-Fitri festival, we call on them to continue to live up to the tenets of their faith through acts of charity, peaceful co-existence with their neighbours and obedience to the injunctions of the Holy Quran”.
It admonished Nigerians to use the celebration of Sallah to assess their spiritual lives as individuals and endeavour to make more sacrifices towards building a better nation for all.
