Nigeria’s Super Falcons secured a place at the 2024 Olympic Games after battling to a 0-0 draw against South Africa at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium, Pretoria, on Tuesday.
Randy Waldrum’s side won the final qualifying round contest 1-0 on aggregate.
Nigeria carved out the first chance of the game with Kaylin Swart saving Chinwendu Ihezuo’s cross.
The Super Falcons were in total control of the game in the first half, with the hosts struggling to create any clear cut opportunity.
Goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie needed to be at her twice to deny the South Africans in the second half.
