Liverpool forward, Mohamed Salah recently equaled an incredible record held only by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry and Newcastle United legend, Alan Shearer after scoring a goal against Brighton in the Premier League at the weekend.
The Egyptian forward scored the winning goal for Liverpool against Brighton on Sunday to give the Reds a 2-1 win at Anfield.
Salah’s goal against Brighton was his 25th goal contribution (16 goals and 9 assists) this season.
It is also the seventh consecutive Premier League season where Salah has reached that number.
The former Chelsea and AS Roma star is now the third player after Henry and Shearer to record 25 goals plus contributions in seven different Premier League seasons.
Salah will now hope to continue his impressive display for Jurgen Klopp’s side when they face Sheffield United in their next Premier League tie on Thursday.
