PHOTOS | Governors, Others Attend Christian Wake for Wigwe in Rivers | METROWATCH

Members of the family and friends, on Friday, attended the Christian wake organised in honour of the late Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank Plc, Herbert Wigwe, his wife and son in Omueke, Isiokpo community, Rivers State.

Those who attended the event include Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun; his Rivers State counterpart, Siminalayi Fubara; presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the last election, Peter Obi; Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike; and Alhaji Aliko Dangote among other top government officials and captains of industry.

Wigwe, his wife, son, and a former Group Chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group, Abimbola Ogunbanjo, lost their lives on February 9, 2024, in a helicopter crash that occurred near a border town between California and Nevada, United States.
