President Tinubu has been advised to reorganize his cabinet by Kingsley Moghalu, a former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
He said that this would boost the economy and help regain investor trust in Nigeria.
In an interview with Arise Television on Thursday, Moghalu made this request.
“To restore confidence, President Tinubu needs to reshuffle his cabinet because one of the reasons that investor confidence disappeared was the process of appointing his cabinet, it was too slow.
“Then when it made the announcement, it was largely a very political type of cabinet, and investors were hoping for something more technocratic to deal with the crisis at hand,” he said.
He further suggested that President Tinubu should establish a dedicated Economic Advisory Council to guide more effective economic management.
