Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has gifted a young boy who dressed like him while showcasing similar football skills N2.5 million.
The video of a young boy wearing a mask resembling Osimhen’s caught the footballer’s attention after popular Instagram blogger Tunde Ednut shared the clip on Tuesday, February 27.
Osimhen, who reacted to the video, asked Tunde Ednut to help him reach out to the boy.
He wrote: “š«¶š¾ā¤ļøā¤ļøš«¶š¾ I go like reach out to the boy #mazitundeednut kindly help me abeg šš”
With the assistance of Ednut and content creator Eriq Morak, the boy was successfully located in Ivory Coast.
Reacting, Ednut wrote: “I initially thought this little man was Nigerian. You wonāt believe we found him in Ivory Coast.
“#eriqmorak found him. He lives in Ivory Coast. I couldnāt see his message, so he reached out to #ogb recently_ and OGB messaged me. I spoke to the family briefly to make sure it was the boy.”
Osimhen then reached out and gifted the money to the boy, eliciting gratitude from his family, who shared a video thanking the footballer for his generosity.
