Lagos, the Federal Capital Territory, and Rivers have emerged as the states with the most foreign investment in the fourth quarter of 2023.
The National Bureau of Statistics reported this in the most recent Nigeria Capital Importation Q4 2023 report.
While overall foreign investment increased by 66.77 percent month-on-month to $1,060.73, Lagos State got the most at $771.68 million, accounting for 65.38 percent of total capital imports.
This is followed by Abuja (FCT) with $370.80 million representing, 34.07 percent and Rivers State with US$6.00 million 0.55 per cent.
It should be recalled that the three states recorded similar feats in Q3 2023.
