Vice-President Kashim Shettima on Wednesday night dazzled the Nigerian national team players, Super Eagles, with power-hugs in their dressing in Cote d’Ivoire.
The hugs were in appreciation of the team’s superlative performance in their semi-final match against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa.
The Super Eagles, at the end of 90 minutes were forced to a 1-1 draw by Bafana and at end of the 30 minutes extra time, the scoreline remained one goal apiece.
But the Nigerian players jumped over the South during the penalty shootout with 4 goals while their opponents scored two.
