Dr Osaro Onaiwu, Pioneer Director-General, PDP Governors’ Forum, has congratulated governors of Bauchi, Adamawa, Plateau, Zamfara, Enugu, and Akwa Ibom States, on their respective victories at the Supreme Court.

Onaiwu felicitated the PDP governors in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday in Abuja.

He said that the historic triumphs not only showcased the popularity of the PDP in their respective states, but also recognised the unwavering commitment and hard work put into the electioneering process.

NAN reports that Sen. Bala Mohammed, Dr Dauda Lawal, Mr Caleb Mutfang, Ahmadu Finitri, Pastor Umoh Eno and Dr Peter Mbah are among the governors whose victories were upheld by the Supreme Court recently.

Onaiwu commended them for their steadfast dedication, tireless efforts and unwavering commitment to the progress and development of their states.

“Their victory is a well-deserved recognition of their visionary leadership and profound understanding of the needs and aspirations of the citizens they represent.

“The Supreme Court’s judgments affirming the electoral victories of these distinguished PDP Governors are a testament to the resolute trust and confidence that the people of Bauchi, Adamawa, Plateau, Zamfara, Enugu and Akwa Ibom States have placed in their capable hands.

“The apex court’s decision solidifies their mandate and provides an unequivocal mandate to further serve the interests of the people and deliver the dividends of democracy to their respective states.

“As the PDP governors settle down, the challenges that lie ahead will require their utmost dedication, perseverance, and innovative solutions,” he said.
