The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has felicitated with Edo people and Nigerians on the celebration of Christmas.
In a statement, the governor said, “I heartily celebrate with all Edo people, at home and in the Diaspora, as we mark this beautiful season of Christmas.
“The yuletide presents an opportunity to show care and love and reflect on the life and teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ.
According to Obaseki, “As we celebrate with our friends, relatives and neighbours, we must keep the significance of the season in mind. Let us spread the message of unity, love, sacrifice, tolerance.”
He added, “I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a season filled with love, peace, and goodwill.”
