Mr. Kayode Fayemi, a former governor of Ekiti, has asked the All Progressives Congress, APC, and National Chairman, Umar Ganduje, to inform President Bola Tinubu about the genuine status of Nigerians.

Fayemi suggested that Ganduje provide Tinubu with input from the communities so that the president does not rely on what he hears in the “villa where he’s locked up.”

The former governor spoke at a book presentation on Tuesday for ‘APC & Transition Politics,’ written by Salihu Lukman, an APC leader.

He charged the ruling party to fulfill its manifesto and not to be “a spectator” in policy making.

The former governor lamented that praise singers have made it difficult for those at the Presidential Villa to know the true feelings of Nigerians.

According to Fayemi: “I am happy that our chairman is here. This is the party that should not be a spectator in policy making.

“This party should be the one to project the manifesto of the party.

“This party should be the one to tell Mr. President that this is the feedback from the communities and constituencies out there, not what he is hearing in the villa where he is locked up.”
