Mr. Ola Olukoyede, Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, has been nominated for confirmation by the Senate.
Olukoyede is now at the National Assembly with some of the Commission’s management personnel.
According to Metrowatchxtra.com, President Bola Tinubu approved Olukoyede’s nomination as Executive Chairman of the EFCC last week.
The appointment is for a renewable term of four years in the first instance, subject to confirmation by the Senate.
Olukoyede’s appointment comes nearly four months after Tinubu suspended the erstwhile head of the anti-graft agency, Mr Abdulrasheed Bawa.
