Cristiano Ronaldo, a former Manchester United forward, has apparently been offered a return to the Premier League and European football by Saudi Arabia.
According to El Nacional, the Al-Nassr captain has been advised that he may join Premier League team Newcastle United in 2024.
Ronaldo left Manchester United when his contract was terminated in November 2022.
After the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, he joined Saudi giants Al-Nassr in January 2023.
The former Juventus and Real Madrid player has been a standout for Al-Nassr, netting 24 goals in 24 Saudi Pro League matches since his arrival.
His performances in the Saudi Pro League, SPL, have piqued the interest of the club’s owners, who have purportedly offered him a return to Europe.
The 38-year-old has been approached by Newcastle United, a club owned by Al-Nassr’s owners.
However, it is said that Ronaldo has not been very receptive to the idea as of yet but will likely consider it in the coming weeks ahead of the January transfer window.
