The Manchester United winger Antony is expected to take a flight back to the UK where he will face questions from the police about assault claims made against him.
The Brazilian is presently on leave from United as he investigates assault claims made by his ex-girlfriend Gabriella Cavallin.
The situation is being looked into by the police in Sao Paolo and Greater Manchester, although Antony is disputing the allegations.
Although Antony has been back in Brazil, he is scheduled to go back to the UK where he will meet with police in person.
According to The Sun, Antony was seen at the Sao Paulo airport with a luggage, a knapsack on his back, and a wash bag before boarding a flight to Manchester and then to Spain.
The day after a Premier League match against Manchester City on January 14, Cavallin claimed Antony had headbutted and attacked her in a hotel room. She alleges that she injured her head and that a breast implant was broken.
