Jadon Sancho, a winger for Manchester United, will attempt to leave the Premier League team in January after crisis discussions with manager Erik ten Hag ended in failure.
A public argument between the two men before the international break resulted in the breakdown of their partnership.
When questioned by the media about Sancho’s absence from their 3-1 loss against Arsenal, Ten Hag, the former Ajax manager, said it was due to the player’s negative attitude in practice.
On Monday, Ten Hag and Sancho met to clear the air. However, it is believed that no resolution was reached.
The Daily Star reports that Sancho will look to leave when the window reopens – possibly on loan – before securing a permanent exit next summer.
