Damini Ogulu, nicknamed Burna Boy, a Grammy-winning Nigerian artist, has paid respect to Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun, the mother of his colleague, Wizkid, who died recently.
Mrs. Balogun passed away on Friday.
Celebrities and public figures have flooded social media with condolence messages for Wizkid and his family since her death was reported.
Burna Boy, on the other hand, took it to a new level by interrupting his show at the Afronation Fest in Detroit, Michigan, to pay honor to the late Mrs. Balogun.
He asked for a minute of silence for the late Starboy boss’s mother, before singing a lyric from his joint song with Wizkid, ‘Ginger.’
