President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday in the Aso Villa met with the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma and his predecessor, Senator Rochas Okorocha.
Both Uzodinma and Okorocha, who have been political adversaries in recent years, arrived the Villa with the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Abdullahi Ganduje.
According to reports, the trio of Uzodinma, Okorocha and Abdullahi were seen exiting the Villa almost immediately as the President already left the office before their arrival.
Although the reason behind their visit was not made public, it is however, believed that Tinubu is making move to settle the two political rivals ahead the November, 2023 governorship election in Imo.
Since leaving office as Imo governor in 2019, Okorocha fell out with his successor, Uzodinma. Recently, the Committee set up by Governor Uzodinma on Recovery of Imo State Public Property indicted Okorocha.
